moveon.org vs.Nazi's
I laughed when i heard a nut compare fox news, George Bush, and the Republicans to the Nazi party. Then the right wing said the moveon.org was even more compatible to the Nazi party. Neither could be.

BUT... on reflection, a few comparisons caught my eye. The Nazi party came in to power promoting change. They stood against the injustice of the current regime. Unlike previous parties They hit on an ingenious idea that seemed ludicrous at first, but slowly built momentum when the got the media behind them. the idea...create a common enemy. Not a foreign one, but an internal one. They targeted the Jews. They made them appear evil on every level. Moveon.org has made the christian right the ultimate enemy. They place them behind every poor decision in the government over the last 100 years. Re-writing history, we find they were unanimously opposed to civil rights, they had nothing to do with the founding of our country, they were and are war mongers. Move on and their Democratic lap dogs find nothing redeemable about them. They do nothing to hide their disdain of them. Whereas most conservatives can make Friends with liberals and not let their political believes get in the way of friendship, I see far too many liberals who want nothing to do with conservatives, and particularly the religious right. Once they find they are religious right, they walk away from them at the least, and curse them out at the worst. As far as friendship is concerned, that is out of the question. Can you think of any other similar situations?

If a local business owner declared his religious /conservative affiliation, is there any doubt that the far left would boycott them. I have never had a problem buying from far left business owners. Even if they place "Impeach Bush" stickers on their windows. As far as I am concerned, ones political views should have nothing to do with who you do business with or are friends with.

The far lefts treatment of the far right can only be compared to the Nazi treatment of the Jews. think about it. I do not believe Rosie O' Donnell, or David Letterman, or Al Franken among others would dare have "one of them" (meaning the religious right) as a friend. Some of these were people I though highly of, but now see them as mean spirited and spiteful If you saw David Letterman's interview of Bill O'Reilly you have a perfect example of the disdain the far left has for the right. Letterman vocalized his hatred of O'Reilly, even calling him A liar, and then admitted he had never seen Bill O'reilly's shows. He received his point of view on Moveon.org. If possible they would have them wear a patch to identify them. I have business associates that I have to hide my political believes from because they have made it clear they would sever ties to any of "those" religious right nuts if they discovered them. We have real estate clients that request to do business only with people who hold the same political point of view.
Does anyone out there noticed the same about these people.
